Chase, BC December 18, 2009. The Quaaout Lodge will begin renovations on
December 21, 2009 which will include re-furnishing and re designing all guest
rooms, adding a new gift shop and completing the addition of balconies to all of
the guest rooms. The Lodge will be back in full swing in April 2010. Until then
the Lodge will be open for reservations daily.
The gift shop is a welcome addition to offer guests various sundries and crafts
created by the Little Shuswap Band. The Lodge will have a new upscale look to
compliment the world class Talking Rock Golf Course at the resort. This
renovation will still embrace the culture of the Little Shuswap Band and blend in
with the abundance of natural beauty of the surrounding land on the southern
shore of Little Shuswap Lake. The resort is located midway between Calgary and
Vancouver.
